For the first time I am going to do a separate post for each
of these two anime.
The latest episode of Rakudai deserves it. That's all there
is to it.
First up, let's talk about the bad guy. The main characters
may talk about how it is not chivalrous but his fighting style is pretty neat.
Magic Arrows + Full Invisibility = Awesome
That said, while his fighting style is cool and he can hardly be faulted for immediately giving up against people his gimmick doesn't work on, the guy is douche.
A giant douche.
Despite having less than two full episodes of screen-time Rakudai does an amazing job at getting us to hate this guy. When Ikki kicks his ass, it's damn satisfying

We know he has gone through some shit, but he has been
pretty calm for the most part. Unreasonably so to an extent.
This episode sorta deals with that. Turns out, the guy is
under a lot of stress. He is messed up after getting shit on for an entire year
and he is nervous as hell, to the point he is having trouble in a fight he
would have otherwise easily won.
Now for the big one: Stella is awesome.
Seriously.
You have got to love how she tells the crowd to shut the fuck up (those guys were dicks) and shows her support for Ikki. It's an amazing moment all around.
And the confession!
They actually said they liked each other within four
episodes. No misunderstandings. No interruptions. Just a boy and a girl who
like each other. It was amazing and it totally works. We have seen how these
two care for each other and I'm really happy for them.
Good job!
