A group of students vs a super Martian robot.
This ought to be interesting.
I guess, I need to begin by talking about Inaho. This
episode has been good for him. Now, some people have taken him as being
emotionless. He’s not.
Unflappable is a better word for it. He goes at his
own pace and lets little bother him, but he does feel stuff. You just have to
look really carefully for it.
This episode he shows he’s also really smart and observant.
Mainly because he doesn’t panic. He was able to analyze the robot’s barrier
power and created a good plan against it.
On that note, I was pleasantly surprised. I was not
expecting them to take down the robot with a clever plan. The students all
performed well and used their resources to bring down a superior foe.
I had my bet placed on the Princess using her super powers
or something.
Armed and Dangerous! |
Speaking of her, she reveals herself this episode. Complete
with a cool light show. Which is not to say she was trying to hide that much
given how willing she was to share Martian trivia.
It’s going to be interesting to see how the others deal with
that next episode, especially the other Martian girl on the group.
That could get awkward.
That said, their interaction was kind of fun. Mainly because
seeing the Princess get taught how to use a weapon was kind of adorable.
It also seems like the Martian girl doesn’t have anything
against helping kill the guy who killed her dad. I guess we won’t see any
conflict of interest there.
Slaine, however, is a different deal.
I kind of feel sorry for this guy.
I mean, he’s even apologizing to the people he shoots.
This is not a stone cold soldier. This is a really nice guy
forced into the position of a soldier.
Which makes the revelation of this episode more striking.
Guy knows where the Princess is. He knows some Martians
tried to kill her (Good job on killing rat bastard by the way!). Now, we just
need to see what he does with that info.
