Log Horizon 11

Just Enjoy it

Summer

Work. Work. Work. Akiba is changing, but work doesn’t ever seem to stop, which leaves a certain Guild Master in dire need of a vacation.

I have to agree with Marielle. Summer without sea is no summer at all.

Shiroe uses the opportunity to set up a training camp for new players. The unlucky guys who are still in the starter levels and still need to learn a few things. This is a good move. Being powerful is one of the mayor things Adventurers have going for them.

They don’t have numbers. They have power. Trying to get everyone to LV 70 or so should be a mayor goal for the city.

Mad Science

Nicest guys you'll find
Okay not really mad.

But you wouldn’t know it just by looking at the picture. I did say a train would be out of the question this soon, but apparently a ship isn’t.

Which is good. Transportation is one of the mayor issues right now.

Gates are awesome in-game.

We all know just how annoying it can get you have to walk back and forth from town to town. It’s just repetitive. Teleportation is way more convenient.

This goes double for the current situation. Adventurers take days to reach another city and that was with cool Griffons helping them out.

Politics

Politicians as Monsters? Clever guy
Ah, the one evil that cannot be avoided.

The League of Freedom Cities (that’s the best name they could come up with? That’s lazy… kind of like USA) invites our heroes to a party.

Obviously a political move to gauge/take control of them.

This is troublesome for a number of reasons. Mainly, that these are normal guys. I mean, yeah, guild masters and all that, but they are all still normal people in their daily lives.

Not that you’d notice that from looking at Crusty.

Guy’s really stepping up.

  1. I'm really starting to like Crusty. Like Shiroe, he's got his head screwed on right.
